The largest sector by company count remains "Other letting and operating of own or leased real estate" with 443,418 companies, followed by "Buying and selling of own real estate" with 273,759 companies, and "Management consultancy activities other than financial management" with 272,866 companies across the UK company register[1].

These figures demonstrate the diverse composition of the UK business landscape, with property, professional services, and retail all representing significant portions of registered companies.
